Join us for a continuation of our       Spring Clean Up!

Saturday, June 9th from 9-11am

The trolley stop at the end of Ridgewood is in need of some clean-up. There seems to be some Irene residual that never got addressed and we want the entrance to our community to be welcoming and we need your help!

We will need rakes, clippers and a truck! So please contact Sue Griffith if you will be able to help out even for a short time. The more people we have helping, the less time this will take.

Phase Two of the New Playground is complete!!

Thank you to everyone who came out to help fill in the mulch!

A SPECIAL THANKS to the HENNINGSEN's who were, once again, kind enough to share their water with the playground contractor so he could make cement.

Also SPECIAL THANKS to BOB WEITZEL who stored the playground equipment until we were ready for installation and took charge of making sure we had the materials, when we needed them, to finish the job.

Also Thank You to the original playground committee, Linda Luzzi, Jen Masi and Diane Dumais, who started this project and raised money through numerous fundraising events!

AN EXTRA THANK YOU to DIANE DUMAIS, who has been diligent in following through with the original playground plans. She did the research to make sure the playground is to legal specifications (Thanks for your help with that Bill MCCarthy), planned out all the details of the set-up, ordered the equipment, worked with the contractor for installation and recruited a GREAT team to help with the final step of spreading the mulch.

And finally, Thanks to MATT LEE of Lee Home Improvement, who has worked with us from the beginning of the project to make sure we were had all we needed to finalize the playground. He has been extremely helpful and flexible with his schedule, working within our time frame with very little notice at times.
